Enrichment is at the heart of what your TMS PTA does to serve our students and families.
Each year, we bring published authors representing a variety of genres, to Tomlinson. Author Visits impact and inspire our students in a powerful way - hearing firsthand from the creators of books our students are currently reading. Past authors include Gordon Korman, Tim Green, and Nathan Hale.
Your PTA funds Programs, like the amazing steel drum ensemble we hosted this year - giving our students an uplifting break from the rigors of their middle school day.
With our Student/Parent Book Group, our families have the opportunity to gather and reflect on a book they've had the shared experience of reading - building connections and trading insights.
Our PTA provides funding and volunteers for students to further explore their creativity (PTA Reflections) and STEM-based learning (Odyssey of the Mind).
Finally, we support the efforts of our TMS Social Worker to give our students in need the tools they require to be successful, via our TMS School Supplies Closet.
